Visit us on tiny Santa Maria Island, Azores not yet spoiled by too many tourists. Experience the spirit of Santa Maria and enjoy the elements of nature. There is a lot of sun, once in a while some rain, sometimes no wind but then stormy, cristall clear waters, calm, deep blue and turquoise coloured, every now and then with a wild and roaring surf. Do a hike across stonewalls surrounded fields. Climb the steep trails in the wine yards of Maia and São Lorenzo, admire the fantastic view from Pico Alto overlooking Santa Maria island with the surrounding villages of Almagreira, Santa Barbara, São Pedro and Vila do Porto and the Atlantic ocean.  Enjoy a coffee in one of the small taverns. We do rent three spacious rooms with enough place to breath with separate nice bathrooms. A rich swissstyle breakfast is included. You might rent a apartment/bungalow as well.

Our place is located quite central on the plateau of "Tremoçal", close by the village of Almagreira, Santa Maria, Azores. Within a approx. 30 min walk you will reach the famous "Praia Formosa", the next possebility to shop or drink a coffee is just a 8 min walk from our place.

Check out the beautiful island Santa Maria on foot, by bike/E-bike or rental car - you will enjoy!
